چکیده
Skin lesions are associated with Crohns disease (CD) in 22– 44% of patients. Metastatic Crohn's disease (MCD) is defined as granulomatous skin lesions occurring at sites separate from the gastrointestinal tract, mainly in the lower extremities and intertriginous areas.1 Genital MCD has been frequently described as refractory and usually begins as a non-healing ulcer, but can be shown as a papule, plaque or swelling.2 We describe the case of a 24-year-old male who presented with ulcers in the penile foreskin area two weeks before admission in the Urology department. He was diagnosed with colonic and perianal CD at 9 years old (A1L3B2p). He has had multiple exacerbations since then, which only responded partially to azathioprine, infliximab and adalimumab. Tacrolimus toxicity following topical treatment of perianal Crohn's disease: an admonitory anecdote.
A 23 year old female with a 12 year history of Crohn's disease had received a variety of systemic and biologic therapies, all of which were either of poor efficacy or had been poorly tolerated. We report two cases of Crohn's disease involving the penis, one with multiple scrotal urinary fistulae, partial destruction of the proximal urethra, and ulceration of the penile shaft; the other with m...

PURPOSE: Lymphedema is a common, life-long complication of cancer treatment that currently has no cure. Patients with lymphedema have decreased quality of life and suffer recurrent infections, while current treatments are merely palliative and designed to prevent disease progression. Accumulating evidence indicates that T cells play a key role in the pathology of lymphedema by inhibiting lympha...
